Couple of ideas for the Tagline Contest (I'll put together a logo design in another post).

how does one attach an image?!
Does one have to direct the attachment to the location on his hard drive, or can you simply attach an image to this post by uploading to the server? |

When you reply to this thread, you'll have the option to "attach" files. It's below the text form. You'll have to point it to the location on your harddisk, then the software will upload it to our servers and automatically attach it to your reply.

You have to use the "New Reply" button rather than the "Quick Reply" option to get to the full interface that allows attaching files. You can also get there with the "Go Advanced" button under the Quick Reply box. As Alex said, the attachment tool is under the main text box in the full reply screen.

Second Try
Here's my second try. I think the others were too shiny.
Thanks, Will Wow, that's small. That's a little bigger... Without tagline Without tagline gray scale Last edited by Instantwill; 12-12-2007 at 12:54 AM. |

MobileRead Logo Entry
Hi, I'm new to the forum, but I've found a lot to love. Here's my logo entry: A book, digitizing in (or out) with the MobileRead initials and the symbol for an antenna. It scales well, and I can adjust the colors, and angle seen to whatever you like. Done in Cinema4D.

I don't think the logos should have a tagline as the tagline as yet to be decided. So please if you have a logo with a tagline would you mind redoing the logo without the tagline and just submitting the tagline separately. The problem is that if that logo wins, then we'd have to also go with that tagline even if we thought another tagline was better. Also, if we decide to change the tagline, we are not stuck with one plastered to the logo.

MobileRead Logo Entry Alternates
Here is my entry again, one to show it in black and white, and the other to show it with approximately the original logo's color scheme.
Thanks, Tom Mays PS. And here's a better version of the logo with the Blue-Blue-Gray color scheme from the original site logo. Enjoy! PPS: Changes made. Please see later posts. Last edited by amaysingstories; 12-18-2007 at 01:55 PM. |

If you can read this text you could read a whole eBook. (OK, I stole the last line with slight modifications from a local bookstore that recently closed.) Read it your way. |
