When a post is moved, why does the forum list not 'close up'. As the plugs get moved into the new area the old Writer's Forum is left with space-hogging (erm) space !

Those are "expiring redirects". It depends on what timespan the moderator chooses when he/she moves the thread. Usually those "space-hogging" redirect placeholders will disappear not later than 14 days after moving the post.

I got my thread on!

I just had to say that because it sounded cool.

Anyway, I'm trying out the new digs over there. Seems like a nice library kinda place. I'll add other threads for my books as news exists.

It's always nice when a forum has things organized nicely. Easier to keep from stepping in...things.
