PcketBook Pro 603 screen damage
Good day!
Found your site and saw so much interesting information that decided to register. Now there is a problem and I think you are the best help there is. So the problem is simple: 1) Got the pocketbook 2) Accidentally sat on it, it broke 3) Looks like this: http://i50.tinypic.com/2afhd7m.jpg Questions: How hard is it to fix it? Are there any particular things to know? Is there a step-by-step guide to fixing it? Found this replacement: http://www.mylcdtouchscreen.com/pock...ment_p547.html Is it the correct one? Perhaps there is one that is cheaper? Thank you in advance! Last edited by pdurrant; 11-12-2012 at 08:39 AM. Reason: fixed URL |

That's certainly a broken screen. The problem with replacing the screen is that you might damage something else when replacing it, or you might even break the new screen.
At $55+shipping, it's perhaps more than the reader is worth, given the risks. |
