I can't find a mobileread android app in market (like the xda-developers app), which I find surprising. Is somebody working on it?

An app for doing what? MobileRead is a web site; you access it using your web browser. Why would you need an app?

A Mobile site would be nice, but the desktop view works fairly good too. (Disregard if a Mobile site exists and I just missed it)

Well, you can use apps to view forum websites like MobileRead. It makes it easier to view threads and subforums, reply, etc., rather than using a mobile version with a cell phone browser, which is fine, but not as streamlined or fast as an app. Also, on some phones, mobile websites come out poorly; so an app comes in handy. It's just nice to have options.

Tapatalk is a popular app that websites can use. But, the request for Tapatalk for MobileRead has been going on for some time now...
