Kindle apps have exclamation point on icon and will not run. What can be done?

Do a long hold on the icon and then remove it from the device. Then go to Apps on the menu and re-download it.

One of the unpleasant features of tablets is that an update for an app may fail to install, leaving the app inoperable until you can sort it out. Lack of space is a common reason.
