e pub validation error messge?
I am trying to validate a trial version of my epub
I have created the epub via apple pages. Thankfully it opens properly in Iphones and Ipads. but I tryto validate and getting this error message. item (iTunesMetadata.plist) exists in the zip file, but is not declared in the OPF file what is this mean? How do I fix it Thanks for the help in advance |

I mess around with Epubs

The iTunesMetadata.plist is a files that gets added when you put your epub through itunes, most likely when adding it to an apple device. You can just unzip your epub, and delete this file, and it should validate.
Just make sure to not run your epub through itunes until after you validate it, because itunes automatically adds that plist file. |
