That is an unexpected result. Based on the reviews of the Kobo Touch and the Nook Touch, I would have guessed that the Nook Touch would be second.

I noticed that you can vote more than once. Have Kobo forum members been multi-voting?

Admittedly, it's not a very high point. The percentage of American adults with e-book readers went from just 6% to 12%. Among those most likely to be carrying an e-reader: parents, adults living in households making $75,000 and up, people between the ages of 18-65 and Hispanic adults -- for whom I believe it's a lector de libros electrónicos.
"People between the ages of 18-65" passes for a demographic these days? My university profs would throw a fit.

Nahhh, that's just the press release blurb defining "adult".

You can read more here: http://pewresearch.org/pubs/2039/e-r...ws-more-slowly

E-reader ownership peaks in the 30-49 cohort at 14%, favours the $75k household with 24% of same having an ereader but still shows up at 13% for $30-49k and $50-74k.
