Amazon Renting Ebooks
Just saw a tech article that Amazon is testing out the concept of renting ebooks. In the example shown, a 30 day rental was around $3.30 for a full price ebook. About one third.

What do you think of this?

Amazon has been renting ebooks for a long time now. Mostly expensive textbooks, but still...

Might be interesting for those vastly overpriced best sellers. $10 is too much for anybook, however for a $4 rent maybe.

If you have an Amazon Prime membership, you can borrow many Amazon eBooks FREE. None of the ebooks I like (biography and history) have free borrowing or a reduced fee rent price.

You have to look at the metadata before you can tell for sure that it is a textbook.
