Setting up Mac Calibre development environment?

Has anyone set up to do Calibre debugging/development on a Mac?

If so, help on how to do so (software needed, etc.) would be most appreciated.

Have you tried following the instructions on the Calibre site?

I have not used them as I do not have a Mac, so do not know if they are accurate - but they would have been at the time they were written.

I'll give them a go and report back.
