Recipe Input Plugin?
In calibre - Preferences - Plugins I see:

Download periodical content from the internet
but I am unable to locate this plugin or any additional information about it.

Any pointers?

It's in "Fetch News." Meant for downloading news from a few sites, similar to an RSS feed. Not to be used for adding food recipes, I'm afraid.

If you're looking for a recipe software the best free option I've found is Kochbuch/Cookbook. Cross-platform.
