Lord, I broke a tooth clean out. No pain. it was my 24 karat gold tooth. On antibiotics then got an extraction appointment for next week. Little stressed for antibiotics will run out long before my appt. All this caused me to stress shop and i got 6 more paperbacks lol

I lost my balance again. The only reason it didn't result in another bad fall is because I landed against a wall. Ouch.

Me too, getting off a bus. Managed to prop myself up against the door after grabbing the door rail, and hang on to groceries in my left hand and a walking cane in my right… no idea how.

I think I'll stop getting the bus home when I'm carrying stuff, it's safer to walk.

I can relate. I do well taking the bus after I swim at the health club, but tonight I stopped at Target and bought a few things, including a heavy 6-pk of bottles of diet pepsi. Used my own shopping bag and it was a burden. I was awkward getting on the bus and got some looks of pity (particularly from a guy from my health club who can no longer swim). It was a short ride and I wondered how I would get up while carrying that bag (I also wore a backpack with my swim stuff). I carried the bag in the same hand as the cane and didn't use the cane except to put down on the street as I got off the bus.

The Targets in the city recently changed hours from closing at early 9pm to 11pm. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to shop in there tonight. I got out of the health club just before 10pm.

it was my first crown so I wanted it to be special. The rest of the tooth gets extracted this friday. i think it was $2300 before insurance. Not really that soft for there is resin between the tooth and the crown which is hard

Six weeks ago I had a cold which turned into bronchitis. On Wednesday I had an irritated throat, which could either be me having slept with my mouth open or a throat infection, which usually means I'm getting a cold.

It looks like the latter. Though it isn't too bad. A throat infection and a runny/blocked nose. I don't feel like it's a proper cold with a fuzzy head and feeling lethargic. So at least there's that. Still, today I'm taking it easy and drinking lots of camomile tea.

Damned political robocalls. Even better is here in Canada they're for some reason exempt from the do-not-call list.

I would never be caught drinking tea. I cannot stand any tea or coffee.

Yup. But I can block a number in a matter of moments, and my phone system supports 999 blocked numbers. Plus I never answer any number I don't recognize or that doesn't give me a useful CallerID.

My throat is my weak point, too. It usually starts there. On Friday and Saturday I had a very runny nose. My month old septum piercing isn't happy at the moment! Today seems to be better, at least so far (just after 9am). My throat was most painful on Friday, it's getting better since. No itchy throat so far, I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping to skip that phase.

My sister started getting a cold yesterday, it seemed like she was feeling worse last night than I have over the last couple of days. So we'll see how she feels today.

Ah, a springtime migraine. Rainy weather and pollen are a lovely combination. And an arthritic neck just adds to the joy. Walking barometer, I swear.

I feel lyour pain ... pollen triggers my sinuses which triggers migraines
