It would be nice to have an alternatve to Friday. I'd go with two Sundays a week, myself.

i'd like to have 2 saturdays, myself. sundays are always a little sad ; it's the end of the weekend, you know you have to work the next day, you don't want to stay out too late or start any big project, all the shops are closed... saturdays are full of promise and possibilities.

Yes, what she said! I'd like to have two Saturdays too (or three or four). Shops are closed on Sundays in Germany too, the cities are somehow "dead". Saturday is Party-day when people go out and have fun. And you can sleep in on Sunday (ok, if the kids let you ).

No, no that simply won't do. If one's week consists solely of Saturdays where is the contrast? Where's the angst of Monday, the anticipation of Friday, the recovery of Sunday?

No it won't do at all.

Therefore four Saturdays would be best.

Monday, Friday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Sunday.

But a steady diet of Texas style homemade chili will give you the sensation of a hot poker up the (what you said) while allowing you to enjoy a large bowl of something homemade with beans but you still would not want nothing but that.

I will offer a possible compromise if you don't mind bending time and space a bit.

Monday, Friday, Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday!, Sunday

(although it may require two Sundays to recover from all those Saturday!s)
