Wouldn't it be possible to throttle the plugin more or even better use the bol.com API https://developers.bol.com/?

When I do a bulk download of more than 50 books bol.com blocks my IP

As far as I can see.
The api is for use in your own app or website to show goods/link to Bol.com.
You need some keys for it, which are privat and for that reason you can not place them in the plugin.
So imo a NoGo.
But feel free to develop it yourself, or shrink your batches

I just love calibre and use the BOL.NL plugin together with goodreads plugin.

The one thing I'm still missing is some kind of pages information (preferable from hardcover or paperback), not by some pagecount algorithm.
BOL has the information (if you base the query on author and title not epub-isbn), but how can we get this in Calibre ?

There are no extra fields in the metadata_function.
For the goodreads decimal rating I made a bypass, where the extra info is stored in the publisherfield, which could be split with a seperate function into a custom column.
But that is just a bypass.

For some reasons ( version 3.8.1 ) When updating metadata, it doesn't retrieve any cover at all from Bol.com.. just like the book doesn't exist there.. Get simular errors as Tijntje and I am not doing batch things, just single books..

Hmmmmm this morning I added 90 books an almost every book got a BOL cover. My version is 3.8.1 too.

@Nick_1964 I think there is something else like internet problems or so.

Bol changed something again. When i search for example isbn:9023442199 or an other book i get in the row author the name of the author and the Publisher

Bol heeft weer iets veranderd. Als ik naar het bovenstaande boek zoek of een ander dan krijg ik in de regel van de auteur te staan, naam auteur en de uitgever.

Yep, they did it again ( it is their job )

I have tried two books.
isbn: 9055158593 - Het dikke schrift
isbn: 9023448502 - De Kantlezer

I got the same problems that in the line from the author i get the name author and the name of the publisher.
Now i got this this in the line author - (book Het dikke schrift)

Ik heb 2 boeken geprobeerd maar ik krijg nog steeds in de regel van de auteur de naam van de auteur en de naam van de uitgever.
Nu krijg ik dit in de regel van de auteur - (boek Het dikke schrift)
