prs500 won't read my sd card

hey guys, i just got a prs500 and using it with a lexar sdhc 8GB sd card.
However, I have an issue that the ebook library won't recognize my sd card even if it is inserted into the reader.
The SD card alone works fine with my laptop. Anyone know what's the issue?

My firmware version is:1.0.03.07170.

At first, I thought it might be a format issue. But after I downloaded the panasonic sd card formatter software and format my sd card again, it still does not help. Does it mean I have to use an sd card smaller than 2GB?

Aslo, I was try to flash my reader with the universal flasher:

By following the instructions, it just simply won't run the script. I guess it's also because of the sd card issue...

PRS-500 does not support SDHC (i.e. 4GB or greater) cards. Get a 2GB or smaller one.

Thanks, a 2GB sd card solve the issue.

Another thing is that I ran into many issues when try to use the universal flash 2.0. There is always an error message shows after I chose to flash the new image. As I recall, it is something like "error while flashing partition" or so. It was really frustrating that I can't find what the problem is after I did tons of searches and eventually find out it is a bug of the universal flasher. I was supposed to flash the reader with the new firmware before I run the script. Maybe I wasn't at the right place, but I was wondering if it is a good idea to add this bug message to the script downloading thread. It may save a lot of trouble....
