SDIO WLAN for Palm TE and T3 users?
Tam Hanna received information on unofficial SanDisk drivers (download link) that would allow you to operate SanDisk's SDIO WLAN cards on Palm TE and T3 devices (and perhaps even Treo 600 and Tungsten T). Tam also notes his source saying that the driver was never released officially because the card would draw too much power. It is up to you to give it a try!

These are the exact same drivers as for the Zire 71 in the mini CD for the Sandisk SD Wi-Fi card (SDWSDB-000-A10M). Not sure if they will work for the TE or T3. Why not just use the PalmOne SD Wi-Fi card (P10952U) which works on the T3, T5, Zire 72 (and even the Treo 650 via an unofficial hacked driver floating on the net). No luck on the TE though.
TE users can get Wi-Fi via Enfora's Wireless portfolio. |

hi alexander, i have a zire 71, the sandisk sdio wifi card and a mac at home. i am trying to configure the zire 71 prefs to get the card to work. do you know how to do that: what type of network, etc, on the connection and network parts of the prefs?
