I know I've seen it in previews, a commercial or somesuch, but I just could not bring myself to name such a dignified creature after a simpson... sorry now I need to work on something that goes along with Strider, and yes, Tolkein type of Strider is what he is named for

Well, I just think you mean Strider as in Aragorn and not as in Frodo's Pony. Logical name would be Arwen. Surely a Savannah would carry that name well.
