Also found "Infinite Exposure" (Promotional Version) by Roland Hughes.

Promo Version has Ch 1 - 18. Says you have to buy full version for the ending.

It's a well klnown fact that Sony restricts free books to the US only because it costs considerably more to prepare an ebook for Canadian readers. The number of 'eh's' they have to add makes a free book cost prohibitive. LOL

Truth is it seems idiotic not to make the same books available to either country. They give away books to boost sales of a particular author and you'd think they would want as wide an audience as possible. Go figure.

It does seem idiotic, but it's not up to Sony it's up to the publisher. The publisher may have a contract saying they can sell in the US only. It's possible the Canadian rights are either completely separate or are tied up with the UK rights. It's one of the many things publishers need to work out in the digital age. Unfortunately most of them would rather pretend it's still the 1980's.

This debut novel does not seem to be available in any other format in the US except TOPAZ for the Kindle (I assume it is TOPAZ, since the filesize isn't shown). However, it is available in ePub in the UK e.g. from WHSmiths. They sell to anyone from anywhere, and the Adobe ePub will be readable directly on a PRS-505 or 700. It isn't free, but it gets good reviews (e.g. on Amazon).

Actually, I think it's the exchange rate that is a big factor! LOL!
