Knowing which books are uploaded to the disconnected device

Dear Sirs,
I know that when I connect a reader device to Calibre, the software shows the books which are uploaded to the mobile. I wonder whether there is a way to know that piece of info once the device is disconnected, without creating and constantly updating by hand a custom flag column.
Thanks for the attention and for a possible answer

You could create a custom column or use a tag and set/clear while the device status is available.

I prefer the custom column as Tags normally get embedded in the book (visible in the jacket)

Look at the Reading List plugin and it's ability to manage a custom column based on books on the device.

The method to automate it is the Reading List plugin. It can populate a reading list, or a value in a column when the device is connected.

Mission accomplished, thanks!
It's just a pity that one cannot set a letter flag in a custom flags field, because the plug in removes everything else in that field.

If you use a tag-like column, the plugin will add or remove just the tag specified for the reading list.
