A problem with Margins? What tool?
I've just purchased a Sony PRS-505 and loaded up a couple of .lrf files into the reader. The problem is the device is wasting a lot of space with these books.
Example: ==================================== "This is and example of how my text looks. As You can see, It wastes lines by putting some odd words at the end of the line like this! ==================================== I've had a quick go with the lrf2lrf tool, but it didn't seem to make any difference: lrf2lrf -b 80 mybook.lrf Is this the correct tool to use or is there something else I can try? Thankyou in advance Mark |

that is a problem with your source Imput, you are using TXT with hard coded line breaks
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8793 that should fix the txt file you are importing from, also check out book designer in my signature |

Yes, you've got a text file. It is very easy to get rid of the hard line-breaks.
Here are a selection of solutions: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43155 And welcome to the forum Bar0n1. Last edited by Patricia; 04-25-2009 at 04:24 PM. |
