Thomson, Basil: Richardson Goes Abroad (1935); v1; 29 Sep 2019
US Title: The Case of the Dead Diplomat
The 4th Richardson case. When a British Embassy press attache is murdered in Paris, and the weapon is a German Hitler Youth knife engraved "Blut und Ehre", the problems are immense: the French need the assistance of Scotland Yard, so Richardson is called in. Was it a political assassination? Once again I couldn't find a good enough original dust jacket, so I concocted one from a period postcard.
