Silliness Beautiful Day!

Ah... What a beautiful day.

Watched a deer grazing just outside our garden during breakfast -- and it didn't come in! The better half informed me we do have a copy of IKWIG to watch tonight.

The sun is shining, the first hints of autumnal russets are touching the foliage, the horses, cattle, pigs and all their young are frollicking by the sides of the road (and not getting onto it) on the way through the New Forest. The Road works are clear. The trees are dripping with delicious apples. It's Friday, so the weekend is about to arrive.

And a Fay Godwin book I've been after for ages is due to arrive.

Anyone else having a good day, or have I cornered all of it?

I'm having a shitty day at work, It's cold outside, I'm going on call for a week tonight, so I can't even curl up in my fav reading chair in front of the fireplace and have wifey keep my glass of whisky topped up since I might need to get in my car in the middle of the night to haul butt into work and fix some stupid server that has decided to go bellyup.

So no, not having a good day no

Yes Lazy Scot - It is a beautiful day, had a nice hog ride to work. It's cool out. And not much on my plate (for work that is).

Let's see...if I lean to the right, careful not to fall out of my chair, I can see that it is a beautiful day here in Georgia. Bright and blue would be an apt description...since I can only see a little bit of sky. That's just the view from my desk. It really is nice outside. I just got back from lunch and it's a little breezy and 77F.

Beautiful day in Alabama. Friday is just another day when you're retired. Painted some on the house, read, mowed the grass, read, checked MR, read ...

Yeah, beautiful day. I managed to murder my table saw, and found out it is more expensive to have it repaired than it is to buy a new one. So, now I have a new table saw.

But .... it is very pretty outside.

It's been a gem of a day here, high in the low 80's F, a lot of cloud cover but not overcast, and the roses are all in bloom. I just walked around smelling them. Opened all the windows to let the fregrance in. A most lovely day....
