That's a bummer, because I am interested in the Adam as a tablet.

Indeed. And it gets worse...they claim to be shipping anywhere in the world for $50, and the return policy states that any return, even for defects, is subject to a 5% restocking fee.

I wasn't planning on pre-ordering myself, but even if I were I would have slammed the brakes given that bombshell. Still it appears a lot of people have pre-ordered.

Yeah, I like to wait for things to settle a bit before I order a new product, whatever it is.
