pdf with scanned images

Hi,
it's my first post, I'd like to know if it's possible (and how it appears) to read on iLiad pdf documents with pages scanned like images (so not scalable or with selectable text).
Thanks in advance.

a) it is possible
b) even scanned images are zoomable.

oh thanks
I had a small palm on which they were seen as images and so practically unreadable (too small even with enlargement).
I hope on the iLiad screen there won't be problems.

can you post an example pdf?
there is sure someone who already has a device and wants to try this for you.
The iLiad has limited greyvalues so images (or pdf's) that are not optimized / dithered for this effect may have disappointing results. If it's only text, i dont expect a problem.

Just keep the dpi low, greyscales only (remove RGB info)

I have read many scanned PDFs (journal articles) on my iLiad. It works quite well. I use landscape and "continuous" mode, and zoom in to trim margins. Multi-column pages are still a nuisance to read, though.
