Kobo Touch will not connect to Calibre

Hi, I have the Kobo Touch, and I have the latest edition of Calibre, I can't seem to get it to see my device to move books from the computer to the e-reader... any suggestions?

Does the Touch show up as a drive on your computer?

There should be a prompt on the Touch's display; "Computer Detected; would you like to connect your eReader to your computer to manage files? [CANCEL] [CONNECT]"

You HAVE to select CONNECT.

Does the Touch present that menu?

What operating system is on your computer?

If Windows, does Device Manager show any devices missing a driver (when the Kobo IS plugged in AND you have selected the CONNECT button)?

Make sure that Kobo desktop is not open, as if they both want to access the device, there could be a conflict
