Sale on E-books

Here in Sweden every February for the last 40 years or so booksellers and publishers join in one huge week of reduced prices. The booksellers and publishers used this to create more shelf space for newer books. You were able to find some real jewels among the rhinestones. Since then it has become an exercise in squeezing the last drop out of bestsellers. Special editions on paper designated for shadowy places are used, and they are stashed in the supermarket next do pre-loved diapers. However, if you drag your droopy ass down to a major bookstore you can still find some gems.

I don't know how it works in other countries, if you have some kind of regular book-sales for items that are gathering dusty fingerprints on the shelves. But how will it be with e-Books? They don't cost anything to store or maintain. Will we ever see an 80% reduction on "Atlas Shrugged"? A month before the copyright expires?

Even a 80% off, Atlas Shrugged is still too expensive. It's worse then trying to read War and Peace in Russian.
