There's no law against jailbreaking your iPhone to allow the use of unapproved apps; it's just a breach of your user agreement. It's not illegal.

And since jailbreaking is basically taking advantages of flaws in iOS4, this won't stop Apple from patching the flaws and breaking the jailbreaks-as happens when they update the OS.

Regarding jailbreaking and such..... I am a Texan. Down here when we buy something, it is OURS. If I want to buy an iPhone and Jailbreak it, light it on fire, play hockey with it...etc... it ain't nobodies business but my own.....
