strange! I think I entered the password only once when I first set the Mini up, then never again. Presumably you are not signing off, right?

I believe my problem may be in that I never followed through to the end of the set-up as I did not have my new Kobo account # to enter. So by what I am hearing here the Mini should retain its WiFi password as both our Vox and Arc do. Many thanks

The Mini (like the other members of the Kobo eReader family) should be retaining the WiFi password.

Wasn't that functionality added in a later firmware version? I seem to remember having to enter the WiFi password each time I connected when I first had my WiFi and then the Touch.

David

My Touch always has remembered the WiFi password. I occasionally get prompted, but it usually means that the connection failed. When that happens, the device seems to scan for other networks and if I select the one that it tried to connect to, it prompts for a password.

I have a Mini since the end of January, so I can only speak for the firmware versions 2.3.1 and 2.4.0 and for one password at a time. With each of them the Mini remembered the WIFI password without any issue.
Have a nice day, David

I`m thinking the solution to your pollution is to just sign up for a Kobo account and then factory reset the mini. Chances are the Mini will then behave properly.
