sorting NEWS out

I've checked the prefeences - but no.
Is it possible to sync the NEWS (from scheduled fetch news) to a seperate directory/folder like /NEWS or whatever. Preferable by specification in the preferences of the scheduled news.

You can add a special tag to the news entries like /NEWS (note the leading /) that should do the trick

THX, but ... there is always a but ...

THX, but I whish the application should do that - cause off the automatic sync occurring when connected tot the reader-storage.
We lack a way to set an additional tag on the news (by GUI, always can edit the script but ...). Should I re-address the question to ...

Is this a "hidden" feature to implement directories? Nice.

0.6 will put news into a news directory if the device supports subdirectories.

The / tag isn't exactly a hidden feature. It has been talked about before but it hasn't made it into the docs yet. That's partly my fault because I haven't added anything to the docs.
