People will be really impressed with you when they see the 2010 list

But can't you see when you read a certain book by looking at the date you added that book to your goodreads page ?

That's amazing! I can read a book part way through, put it down for months and pick it up an know exactly where I was, but I can't read more than one at a time.

I then have 14 runners up (in no particular order):
Inferno by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle
Overthrowing Heaven by Mark L. Van Name
Darkship Thieves by Sarah A. Hoyt
Analog, March 2010 by Dell Magazines
Federations edited by John Joseph Adams
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
Nation by Terry Pratchett
The Dragon Man by Brian Stableford
The Eternity Brigade by Stephen Goldin
Tea-time for the Traditionally Built by Alexander McCall Smith
The Girl Who Played With Fire by Steig Larsson
The Green Hills of Earth/The Menace from Earth by Robert Heinlein

I've listened to the first two Spellman books, and have the next two purchased from Audible. In an interview, the author said she didn't want the series to drag out, but rumors of the 4th one being the end are premature (she'd like to write at least a fifth one).

Last year it was mostly Navigation skills, compass work, outdoor first aid, hill walking, map reading etc. Hell, looking at the types of books I appear to be a nut job. But to balance that i do spend a lot of time driving and have started listening to audio books in a big way. This year i have got a ebook so now i am a nerdy nut job.

A lot of (ie. mostly) re-reads in there, I've been doing that a lot in the last few years. Saves money and is very convenient when you have lots of other stuff going on. Also quite a few kids books, or at least for "younger readers", which is also convenient when time is tight and some of them are very very good.
Moby Dick? There's a year's worth of reading right there!
