HELP epub conversion tool - errors
HI all,
Would someone know how to correct errors from web file converted to epub format using calibre ? epub checkers (required for lulu.com) returns 100's of errors typically "attributes width/link/vlink not allowed at this point". I have viewed the file with firefox and sigil and they look ok. I have tried converted from pdf source but result where worst. My book is pretty much standard with a couple of images and footnotes but nothing really fancy format-wise. Is there other freeware more reliable out there ? Thx cysag |

If you're publishing a epub then beyond this tool you should take your questions to the ePub forum. Calibre is extremely reliable, the fault lies with people who think any tool can magically polish a turd. If you wish to create ePubs that meet the specs for publishing you have to do your research. Go to the ePub forum and ask folks there where to find the info/specs and what tools they use. |
