keyboards in all the right places.
adding a KB button to toolbar(s) figuring out how to make the day notes thing allow for keyboard + the notes. (probably have to hide something) check every single dialog on both size screens. Clicking every button. check that all the segfaults are fixed (setting titles on dialogs that are destroyed) removing options from the preferences list that make no sense. check the spelling IS now enabled in day notes. resizing the preferences stuff so it doesn't scroll horribly. (preferences still looks terrible out of the box on the DEBIAN release on my desktop computer... so I don't feel too bad) figure out a tidy way to switch between Left and Right click. (obviously, if the original text field isn't empty, you must send to the popup window also the already written text). Once the code for this procedure is ready, it can be recycled in every tab or app that need it! Concept in the image below: Last edited by Aeris; 10-10-2013 at 06:34 AM. |

its a good idea.
I was going to go with "hide the calendar until note is closed / while the note is open" but your concept certainly has merit. |

However, in this case your method seems be better: there are some extra buttons for text editing, that I forgot to consider Last edited by Aeris; 10-10-2013 at 03:07 PM. |

Hmm....
How did Apple deal with these questions when they only had a single-button mouse? |

today was mainly burned on
https://sourceforge.net/p/osmo-pim/bugs/31/ so that was fun. also many thanks to niluje for his: LDFLAGS="-Wl,-rpath,/mnt/us/extensions/osmo/usr/lib:\ /mnt/us/extensions/aspell/usr/lib:/mnt/us/extensions/gtkspell/usr/lib:\ /mnt/us/extensions/enchant/usr/lib/ -static-libstdc++" trick - this will doubtless creep into many of my future apps now. the underlying libarchive was rebuilt on squeeze to the latest version (repos' was too old) with a large raft of underlying cryptographic support thrown in for good measure. development on squeeze (easiest) and wheezy (-static-libstdc++ trick) now possible. |
