Putting a scroll bar in the dictionary popup window?
Ixtab, I always thank you for all of your creative works.
I ask you.... Do you have a plan to make and put a scroll bar in the dictionary popup window? The scrollbar that you made in the menu, it is very useful. On my KT if I need to use find the definition of a word, I often have to go to the full definition page. Going to the full Dictionary page is slow and not convenient. So, I think if I can use the scroll bar to see the full definition of a word in the popup window, it will be very good and useful. I know the necessity depends on how much peoples feel the inconvenience about this. What do you think about this? If you are not interested in, just forget about it. |

Margin patch not working
Hello everyone,this is my first post at mobileread.First thanks to ixtab for his superb work on jbpatcher and font hack.I have tried margins patch and have set the values of reader.content.leftMargin and reader.content.rightMargin to 0 for fullscreen pdfs.I have tried the sample pdfs and none of them display fullscreen i.e none of them have black borders that reach the edges.Might be my fault
 .I have already added an entry at config.txt.It goes something like this:ixtab_legal-5.1.0.jbpatch ixtab_margins-5.1.0.zip NOTE:THE LEGAL PATCH LINE ALREADY EXISTS.I HAAVE ONLY USED IT FOR REFERENCE. PLEASE HELP!

I can't install jbpatch_1.3.1 on KT 5.0.1... Is it supposed to be just for 5.1.0? I know you said (in the first days) the demo version at the time is just for 5.1.0, but has it changed ever since? And all jbpatches' filename end in 5.1.0, so I assume they are just for 5.1.0, right?
P.S. My GUI Launcher is 1.1 (Yifanlu), not 1.2.1 (ixtab) Manual update: Spoiler:

Margins patch can't work.
The pdf(s) are not woking with the hack. I set the left & right margin to zero.
After restart , no any change. I added the corresponding entry to CONFIG.TXT. But another password plugin is working. |

Sorry for only delivering a short intermezzo right now... I'm working on it, but I'm currently a bit short on time.
@milancete: Muchas gracias for the contribution! It will be included in the next release. @cscat: You are wildly combining things that are meant for 5.1.0 and 5.0.*. For all that we currently know, firmware 5.1.* completely, utterly, breaks downward compatibility with all 5.0.* firmwares. There are quite a few rants about this on the forum, but that's not the point... In short: the jbpatch framework as such could most probably work on 5.0.*, but it might need some adaptations. @techiemonkey, (sdrs), etc.: the patches are working. Please make sure to follow the instructions. @acajac: I'm not sure if I completely understood what you mean, but from what I did understand, your request might be a rather challenging one. I'll try to cater for it, but no guarantees... @all: I'm working on the new version of jbpatch. Much of the existing code has already been adapted to it, but a few features, like the user interface for configuring settings, still need a lot of work. In the mean time, below are some very early development screenshots of the UI of version 2.0. The final version will provide a nicer and more complete UI.
