Saki: When William Came. V1. 21 November 2012
"Saki" (Hector Hugh Munro, 1870-1916) was a journalist and foreign correspondent, author of non-fiction books and, most famously, his acerbic, satiric and sometimes macabre short stories under the name "Saki".
Munro enlisted in the army as a private despite being well over fighting age (45), and was killed in France in 1916. This book is a short "what if" novel of Britain under the Hohenzollerns, after the UK was defeated by the Prussian empire.
