Need help on wiki translation

This is an international community and we have an international capable wiki but unfortunately only a few pages are present. Please help your nationals get more from the web site by providing the wiki resource for those whose English language skills are not as good as your own. People do use the pages when they are present. As you can see we need more. Here is the complete list:

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. The list is those that are done (except for the Spanish main page which is incomplete) out of the 800 pages in the wiki. Google is a good first step but I am reluctant to leave articles un-reviewed that done that way. Anyone can, of course, use google themselves if they wish. I am not suggesting that all pages be translated. It is up to the individuals which ones they do and depends on interest.

I've just translated the text boxes in the Spanish Main Page. Is there a way to translate the "Languages" label that comes from the {{Languages}} template?

The languages should be ok. There is no real way to change them. They are in the language that will be gotten if you click them.

Yes, but there is "Languages:" before them, thus:

Languages: English • Deutsch • Español • Français

It's the red word I want to translate

Ah, interesting idea. In a few cases we have made templates themselves using the same convention such as a template named {{languages/es}}. You might try that and see. I like the idea.

I had gone so far as to create a "Template:Languages/es" page, but hoped it would be automatically used with the main template

By the way, in the page https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Template:Languages the links in the bottom table do not work as advertised (they are not links to Wikipedia), and the text refers to MediaWiki. Also, if the {{languages/es}} is going to stay, the Syntax section should be updated.

Thank you for the update. I agree that the template needs some clean in the documentation. It was originally taken verbatim when we added language support. I see no problem with keeping the languages/es template. It would have been nice to make it automatic but the languages extension is not under out control. It does seem to work ok.
