$20 Mail-in rebate for kindle

I just bought a kindle from a website offering $20 mail-in rebate. Interestingly enough, amazon.com is not offering any rebate. I wonder if anyone has bought Kindle from them and whether you actually got your rebate check. Their site is www.amystechstore.com.

Seems to be one of those store-fronts inside Amazon.com, judging from the link at the bottom of the page. Not sure what, if anything that means, though.

Really? I just mostly ignore them myself. It always seems to me like too much trouble to actually work up a full-fledged despising.

IIRC, Amazon has some sort of affiliate program where you get a commission if someone clicks through your site to buy stuff. I'm wondering if this is just them refunding the commission to you and making money on the fact that a lot of folks will forget to send it in.
