Removing files with no formats


Apparently I imported several files into my calibre library that contain covers and metadata only, and no format file. I would like to find and remove these from my library. Is there a way to do this in bulk? Thanks in advance.

type formats:false in the search bar. Or click twice on the formats entry in the tag browser.

That may indicate that someone removed the formats using the file system (which Calibre has no knowledge of happening)
Run the Library Maintenance (right click the Library Icon) and fix the problems found.
Then try again
