lol
you made me think that the "color opus" will have a color display, but that´s only a colored frame btw, french apparently is a tricky language for google translation. As expected, there´s no info on Bookeen´s site nor blog. Keep us updated, wheter that news will effect Gen3/Opus users |

Orizon looks similar to Opus but bigger. And color Opus I've ordered a white one but, if I like it, perhaps later I'll sell it and got one orange or violet (but I'm not sure).

After all the hassle with the Gen3, would you really want to go through that with yet another Bookeen device?

No, not really. But if they allow Mobipocket firmware on this one, and if it can do dictionary lookups with one touch, and if I read 10 reviews of people who bought it here, and no one mentions any crashes of problems that would be a showstopper for me, I might consider buying one. Nah, I'll wait for a color device. |

Bookeen could not even get the ePub firmware to read the metadata. I dont' trust them to do a touch interface.

Yes, I've already done it because I've purchased an Opus. Besides, I don't want touch screen, WI-FI or Bluetooth. I'm fine with the reader as is now, I only want it for reading books.

Well, i don't mean to buy the orizon, but then, i didn't meant to buy the opus either. Until i held it in my hands during the apero and though "need one", even if said opus crashed on me more than once this day (Well, i went for stuff i knew the gen3 had trouble, didn't failled.) That's why bookeen and sony have most of the french market, because you can go in shops, and acctually see the devices. |

I don't know if I'm going to buy another Bookeen, but it's a possibility now. The opus is quite unique in the market....And as long as they don't break I don't need any other update, they are doing what they are supposed to, now. Read tons of books easily accessible in folders!! |

Nope you are wrong. They may share some parts, but the Opus is not the same device and not the same cards
