where are kindle books stored on an Android phone

Should be easy but I cant find them. Had to uninstall Kindle app to get GPS program going, re-installed Kindle and moved to SD card and no books !!

My sideloaded books are in /storage/emulated/0/kindle/ (aka /sdcard/kindle/).

The ones downloaded from the Amazon servers are in /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.amazon.kindle/files/

However, I haven't moved the Kindle for Android app to my external SD card, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

If you Uninstalled the kindle app and had only Amazon books, it probably uninstalled them too.
Oh wait. Check your devices on Amazon. When you reinstalled the app, it may have changed the name of the app. So you may have to redownload your books.

How? Or did you mean the kindle app? And when you click on a book, it opens within 3 to 5 seconds.
