NY Review of Books ???

I was always able to read the NYReview of Books - both with my browser and by calibre.

Now suddenly the calibre recipe reports the error that

Code:

 **tuple**: ('ValueError', u'The New York Review of Books recipe needs a username and password.')

... yet by Firefox I can access the site without problems (and without passwords...)!

Any fix available?

Yeah I tried to get the feed too and got that message.

The NY review of books only gives you access to full content if you have a subscription

Well, you get the full text for most of the articles in the more recent issues. For older issues it seems you have to pay for most of the articles.

It's easy enough to remove the subscription requirement, just make a custom recipe based on the builtin one and set needs_subscription=False
