Proud new owner of a Sony Reader PRS 650
My name is Seth, my gf just bot me a PRS-650 and I'm trying to master it. I bot it cause I wanted to keep all my ebooks with Google Books (what I would deem a bit more open source) but I'm having some difficulty actually linking my Google Books account with the Sony Reader Library. I can search Google Books and download them to the Reader LIbrary no problem, but I already have a bunch of books in Google Books that I'd like on my Reader.
Also my gf bot me the zip up Blue Cover from the Sony website with my Reader, but I'd really like one with a light. Is the standard one that shows up on an Amazon search any good (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Digital-R...p/B002NFW4XG)? Also would anyone know if it would fit INSIDE the zip up blue one? I like the zip up feature of the blue one for extra protection when the Reader is in a bag, but I don't like the fact that a) I have to fully remove it from the case to read on it and b) that it does not have a light. Any other options out there for maybe a fully enclosed case that I can read from while the Reader is still inside that has a light? Also I'd like some sweet photos optimized for the Reader as backdrops on the save screen. None of my photos work and I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of pics that came with it (the kindle "screen savers" IMO blow these away). It should be easy just wondering if anybody had done the legwork to compile a good amount of them. I suppose I"ll troll the forums for answers to these questions but if anyone wants to point me in the right direction, I would be much obliged... |

Good to have your company, Seth. Why not do yourself a favour and download the excellent Calibre library software? It's free here: http://www.calibre-ebook.com. You'll find it and your Sony a marriage made in heaven. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
