Adding chapter markers to Kindle books

So I already posted this in the Kindle forum, but it's probably more relevant here. Anyway, I purchased a book from the Kindle store last night, and it doesn't have any chapter markers. It does have a table of contents though, so it does recognize chapters in some capacity. Is there a way to add chapter markers, perhaps through Calibre? It's also left justified, instead of fully justified. Can I fix that in Calibre too?

I don't know if Calibre can do all that.
If the book has no DRM you could:
convert it to epub format
use the program sigil to create a table of contents and change the justification...
use calibre to convert it back to mobi format.
and put it back on the kindle.

If there's no DRM on the book, and it has a Table of Contents, Calibre will add the chapter markers. You have to convert it to Mobi using Calibre, though, and I'm pretty sure it won't do the conversion if there's DRM.

send it back to Amazon because it's incomplete - seriously - that's probably the only thing they take note of when it comes to improving their publishing standards. all DIY fixes require you to remove amazon DRM, which you could point out to them is not allowed, so tell them to fix it or refund you.
