<em> tag not recognized in Calibre viewer?
Imported an ePub I created (using BbEdit mostly) into Calibre, opened it with the Calibre viewer, and notice that all the italic text, which I coded with <em> is not displayed as italic. Do I need to use the <i> tag instead? <em> works fine on iPad etc. is there a preference setting I am missing?

Most likely it is a book with an embedded font - the Qt Webkit component calibre uses has a known limitation with those.

Yes, fonts are embedded. Is there a fix? I'd prefer to keep them. My main use for the Calibre viewer is to test the file on a 'generic' platform (i.e. not on an iPad). And don't mention Adobe Digital Editions, that thing is awful.
