Manga creator from JPEGs? (BBeb creator)

Hi,

Anyone know how I can create a BBeB file from JPEGs? I know you can just load in all the JPEGs, but it's easy to lose your place and it's not easy to skip to a different series. Is there any easy way just to queue up a bunch of JPEGs and create a book out of it? It might be doable with a PDF too, but there might be more compression loss.

I would definitely be interested in this as well, for the same said reasons. Sifting through 3,000 images trying to figure out where you left off is not an easy task.

Short of Jesse's request is there any way to create SubFolders that the E Reader will recognize and more importantly display inside the "Pictures" section? While it would not completely solve the problem, at least it would be a way to at least orginize the different volumes and or series.

I started a thread in the content section to work on this. I think our best bet will be to convert images to pdf files. I'll see what I can make happen if my reader can stop visiting FedEx hubs across the US and come to its new home!

Wow I was just doing a search and didn't realize you could do in Linux with ImageMagick.

Just type "convert *.jpg out.pdf"

Works pretty well and there are certainly lots of parameters to play with sharpen or dither or what not. Would be interested to know if there are any ImageMagick wizards out there.
