Well, looks like I was right

I tested my wife's Kindle Fire today, and the Kobo, Aldiko, and Mantano apps were all nowhere to be found on the app store on the device. It's weird because I thought Mantano was confirmed. Then again, the app store did update today, so maybe they were removed. Also, one of my favorite games, Fieldrunners HD, is not on the app store on the Fire (it's still in the amazon app store on my Samsung Galaxy Tab).

Oh well, at least sideloading should work...
