Can Author be Displayed LastName, FirstName?

Is there an option for the author column to be displayed as LastName, FirstName so it would display the same as what is being used in the Author Sort field?

New to calibre and looked at all the preference pages but did not see one for this.

My apologies if it is obvious and I missed it.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for since it is one at a time rather than bulk, but if you select the book you want, and then select Edit Metadata, there's a little arrow between Author and Author Sort. If you left click and hold your mouse over the arrow, you'll get the option to set the author from the author sort field (or vice versa, as well as manage authors).

Author names are displayed on the library view in the same way they are entered. If you enter Firstname Lastname, that is what you see. If you enter Lastname, Firstname, then that is what you see.

With some work you can convert from one form of author name to the other. See this section of calibre's FAQ, and in particular the boxed note at the bottom of the section that discusses changing from FN LN to LN, FN. There are also a zillion posts on this. Search for "author sort tweak" to get some of them

Note that you can change which author name is displayed in the tag browser using the tweak "Use author sort in Tag Browser" (categories_use_field_for_author_name). Change tweaks using preferences -> Advanced -> Tweaks.
