the free books? click on the links that have been provided in this thread. unless there has been a stated price they are probably free. BUT!!!! they don't all stay free! sometimes they are only free for a few hours so you need to check often

yeah, but i'm looking for free books under the LGBT genre and didn't see a lot here

then again there might just be really few free ones XD

For the life of me, I can not remember where I saw it, or I would add the link for you. I'm sure, however, if you do a search on google, something will come up.

I'll echo what KK said in that books often don't stay free for long. Even if you don't see many LGBT books that are free right now, they may have been free in the past. I've found that collecting free books for my Kindle is an ongoing process and an enjoyable hobby! Check here at least every day or two, and if you see something interesting go ahead and grab it quick. When I go back to Amazon now and look up the books I got for free in the past, a whole lot of them are no longer free. I am continually amazed at how much excellent content I've been able to get that way. Thanks koland and arcadata!

There are usually one or two free books or short stories each weekend from Rainbow eBooks that are free. This weekend's are linked on this blog post (there are often some from Samhain in the Kindle store, so just keep checking back).

A few of these may be duplicates (or bundles that have been available for a while, but appear to be ill-publicized, from what I see posted in the Amazon forums), but I tried to check current posts and remove any that have been recently posted.

Book Bundles:

The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ($9.99), by Douglas Adams, has some very old reviews that mention formatting issues that have long since been fixed (and a new version sent to those who purchased early). The first book alone would be $6.29, but you get all five for under $2 each.
Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed 8-Book Bundle ($34.61), by Lara Adrian, looks a bit steep at first, but works out to $4.23 per title in the series. If you start on it now, you should be done in time for the next one in this series: Deeper Than Midnight ($6.39). Recently marked down from an outrageous near $60 price (which was more than buying all the books stand-alone).
