You don't have to in vista, go up to the adress bar and type in "system" yourself ("E:\system"), and you can change to the dir.

You guys are awesome!!! I just got my K2 today, and of course the first thing I did after it charged was download and install this hack.

Is there a thread with images posted from everyone? If not, we should start one...

I just spent a couple hours playing around with Wordle to make a dozen different "word clouds" to use as screensavers. I used some of my favorite authors and their characters to form the cloud. I think they turned out pretty darn good!

I also found a cool Biohazard one too...

Hi All,

Quick question I didnt' see answered in this thread already. As someone else pointed out, it would be great to have the cover of the book you are currently reading as the screensaver. Each book you download to the Kindle comes with a picture of the cover which you can view if you are in the book and press the menu button.
So, could I go into the book file on my computer and copy that image into the screensaver hack, therefore using the book covers as screensavers? I ask this because I am not in front of my kindle now but I don't recall seeing an actual image file (such as .jpeg) within the book files when looking on the computer.

Well.... I had to remove pretty much everything I've posted over the past week per a moderator's request.

I'm not really sure how taking promotional images of a movie or the cover images from books that I have purchased and cropping them to fit the Kindle is wrong... but I'll abide by the moderator's request.
