Various: Ace-High Magazine. V1. 8 Mar 2011
Ace-High Magazine started as a general adventure pulp, published by Readers' Publishing Corp (a division of Clayton Magazines) in September 1921. They published some 246 issues, mainly on a twice-monthly basis, and even spawned a short-lived companion magazine called Ace-High Novels, but the magazine finally folded in June 1933. It was revived five months later by Dell Publishing, who retained the magazine name but shifted the emphasis heavily to Westerns (the tag-line on the magazine cover changed from "Western, Action and Sports Stories" to "Western! Action! Adventure!"). However, this version lasted for only 15 issues before the magazine folded again in January 1935.
