Cybook Opus Not Detected
Just got my new Cybook Opus which is not being detected by Calibre. I know the Opus has only just been released, but is there anything I can do to get Calibre to see it?
Cheers. |

Or you could send your opus to someone else to write the code for it. |

Just plug in your Opus and run
calibre-debug -d and post the output |

Annoying, the CyBook OPUS seems to have the same product id as the CYBOOK Gen3. Who develops firmware at Bookeen?
Also post the file /tmp/ioreg.txt that is created by the calibre-debug command |

From ioreg I see there are three drives mounted from the CyBook. Are the last two from SD cards? Or are they partitions of the main memory?

This is the Opus as it was delivered to me from Bookeen. I haven't inserted a memory card, and only one drive is mounting on my Mac desktop when I connect the Opus.
The output from df (with the Opus connected via USB) is: Filesystem 512-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on /dev/disk0s2 155629664 76051784 79065880 50% / devfs 221 221 0 100% /dev fdesc 2 2 0 100% /dev map -hosts 0 0 0 100% /net map auto_home 0 0 0 100% /home /dev/disk1s2 41938904 7448800 34490104 18% /Volumes/scgf1 /dev/disk5 1989296 121560 1867736 7% /Volumes/Cybook Opus scgf1 is my idisk. |

Can you insert an SD card and re-run calibre-debug -d and post the ioreg.txt file again

I've done calibre-debug -d again and attached the ioreg.txt file in case there is any difference now you've seen the output from df.

Sorry, our last messages crossed.
The Opus uses a micro-sd card, fortunately I have one I use in my photo frame. It is called 'Sony Sframe'. I have attached the ioreg.txt with the sd card inserted in the Opus. |

And unfortunately the Opus has rendered the sd card unreadable in the picture frame. Hmmmm.
