INFO PLEASE
I'm an old lady who loves to read English cozies (there are millions of us). I just discovered Patricia Wentworth, but at $10.00 an e-book, can't buy them all. Does anyone know when her books will become public domain?

Hi MLOU and welcome to MobileRead. Isn't the Kindle going to be able to borrow books from the library soon like the Sony and others do?

She died in January 1961, yeah? In which case her books should become public domain on the 1st January 2012, I believe, but only in copyright Life+50 countries. Of course, this doesn't mean her books will necessarily be available as ebooks, as they have to be ebookified first if they haven't been.
